從屬連接詞：用于引導(dǎo)從句，這里還要注意英語(yǔ)句子的結(jié)構(gòu)：主謂完整才叫句子，從句從屬于一個(gè)長(zhǎng)句，作為長(zhǎng)句(也叫主句)的一個(gè)句子成分，常見(jiàn)的從屬連接詞有：

when(當(dāng)…時(shí)候)，引導(dǎo)時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)，表明動(dòng)作發(fā)生的時(shí)間。

When he arrived, he thought something was different.

while(正當(dāng)…時(shí)候)，也是引導(dǎo)時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)，后面常用延續(xù)性的動(dòng)詞。

While I was waiting, a ship entered the harbour.

after(在…之后)，引導(dǎo)時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)，注意從句和主句的動(dòng)作先后。

After he had had lunch, he went to the train station.

before(在…之前)，引導(dǎo)時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)，從句中的動(dòng)詞發(fā)生在主句之后。

He gave me a call before he arrived.

since(自從)，現(xiàn)在完成時(shí)的時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)標(biāo)志詞。

I have lived here since 1998.

until(直到)，引導(dǎo)時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)，主句常常用not，表示知道什么時(shí)候才......

He didn't wake up until I knocked at the door.

although/though(雖然)，引導(dǎo)讓步狀語(yǔ)從句，就是退一步說(shuō)的意思。

She didn't receive the gift though she like it a lot.

if(假如)，引導(dǎo)條件狀語(yǔ)，有時(shí)候需要虛擬。

If I could fly, I would go to the moon.

as(如…一樣;由于)，引導(dǎo)比較狀語(yǔ)從句、原因狀語(yǔ)。

He did as he was told.

I didn't tell him the truth as it could hurt him.

as …as…(和…一樣)，引導(dǎo)比較狀語(yǔ)從句。

The son is now as tall as his dad is.

as far as(就…而言)，引導(dǎo)方式狀語(yǔ)從句。

The road streches as far as i can see.

as long as(只要)，引導(dǎo)條件狀語(yǔ)從句。

You are sure to win as long as you work hard.

as soon as(一…就…)，引導(dǎo)時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)從句。

He rang me up as soon as he arrived there.

even if(即使)，引導(dǎo)讓步狀語(yǔ)從句。

They will not buy it even it is very cheep.

because(因?yàn)?，引導(dǎo)原因狀語(yǔ)從句。

He missed the train because he got up late.

unless (除非)，引導(dǎo)條件狀語(yǔ)從句。

The baby never cries unless she is hungry.

that 引導(dǎo)賓語(yǔ)從句。

I said that I could give a hand.

than(比…)，引導(dǎo)比較狀語(yǔ)從句，也可以說(shuō)是一種方式狀語(yǔ)從句。

The bus took me farther than I excepted.

whether (是否…)，引導(dǎo)賓語(yǔ)從句，可以換 if。

I don't know whether he will come or not.

in order that…(為了)，表目的，引導(dǎo)目的狀語(yǔ)從句。

He threw out two heavy food bags in order that the plane could fly over the mountain.

so…that…(如此…以致)，表示結(jié)果，引導(dǎo)結(jié)果狀語(yǔ)從句。

He worked so hard that he passed the exam.他學(xué)習(xí)很用功，最后通過(guò)了考試。

so that…(以便)，表示目的，引導(dǎo)目的壯語(yǔ)從句。

He worked hard so that he could pass the exam.他很用功的學(xué)習(xí)為了通過(guò)考試。

now that…(現(xiàn)在既然)，表示原因的狀語(yǔ)從句。

Now that you have missed the bus, you will have to wait for another.

by the time…(到…時(shí)候)，引導(dǎo)時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)從句。

By the time they left, we had been talked about it for 30 minutes.

every time…(每當(dāng))，引導(dǎo)時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)從句。

He will bark every time he enters the garden.

as if…(仿佛)，引導(dǎo)的方式狀語(yǔ)從句或者表語(yǔ)從句。

He looked at me as if he has never been my friend.

no matter when(或whenever)(無(wú)論何時(shí))，引導(dǎo)時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)從句。

No matter when you need help, ring me straightly.

no matter where(或wherever)(無(wú)論在哪里)，引導(dǎo)地點(diǎn)狀語(yǔ)從句。

No matter wherever you go, I will miss you for ever.
